It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlyle Hilbourn of Tabor City, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barcy Lee Hilbourn and Blanche Fowler Hilbourn; and his siblings, Horace Hilburn, Roy Hilburne, Rev. Dewey Lee Hilbourn, Ovella Evans and Louise Hilburne.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hilbourn of Littleton, CO, Keith Hilbourn of Littleton, CO and Dawn Hilbourn of Seattle, WA; his nephew John C. Hilbourn of Nakina, NC; and his niece Lucy Dameron of Tabor City, NC..
