He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Nealey and Hazel Watts Nealey; and his sisters, Carolyn Stevens and Linda Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Williamson Nealey; his children, Dwayne Nealey (Jamie) of Tabor City and Donna Nealey Breedlove (Shawn); his sisters, Frances Moore and Rachel Thomas of Green Sea, SC; his grandchildren, Ryan Nealey (Taylor), Loren Breedlove Cervantes (Chris), Mason Nealey and Mackenzie Breedlove; and his great grandchild Delaney Nealey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel (300 E 5th St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Baptist Church (200 Live Oak St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Myrtle Green Cemetery (11319 Old Stake Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463).
