He was predeceased by: his parent Manley Junior Soles; and his brother Hiram Soles. He is survived by: his mother Mezella "Zell" Soles (Watts); his wife Wynona Soles (Hardee); his children, Ryan Ashley Soles, Robert Kyle Soles of Tabor City and Zebeth Fowler of Little River, SC; and his sisters, Emily Burbage (Joseph) and Amy Piver (Brent). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
