With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Allene Dorman of Tabor City, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Persis Cox and Retha Porter Cox; her husband John Arnold Dorman; and her brothers, Auburn Cox, Afton Cox and Atchley Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Holly Dorman Falls (Stan) of Tabor City, NC, Clark Dorman (Tammy) of Tabor City, NC, Hugh Dorman (Wendy) of Longs, SC and Scott Dorman (Jennifer) of Tabor City, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Tabor City Baptist Church (200 Live Oak St, Tabor City, NC 28463). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Myrtle Green Cemetery (11319 Old Stake Rd, Tabor City, NC 28463).
