He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Franks and Josephine Melton Franks; and his daughter Kim Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Williams Franks; his children, Lee Franks and Kevin Vernon; and his grandchildren, Dakota and Brittany. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
