He was predeceased by: his mother Jessie Hooper of Tuckasegee. He is survived by: his father Harold Hooper; his wife Gaye Bryson of Cashiers; his sons, Brent (Amanda), Grant and Matt (Alicia); his grandchildren, Brice, Ivy, Trent, Hayley, Emma and Charlie; and his sister Gwen Hooper of Sylva.
