He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Nations and Hester Nations; his wife Libby; and his siblings, Hilda, Verma, Ray, Opal, Frances, Willard, Hayes and EJ.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tonya Franks (Tony) of Tuckasegee and Millie Wood (Richard) of Webster; his grandchildren, Jennifer Peterson (Teddy) of Bryson City, Jessica Bryson of Sylva, Trevor Wood of Sylva and Madison Wood of Sylva; his siblings, Shirley Nations of Sylva and Eugene Nations of Canton, GA; and his sister-in-law Doris Nations. He is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
