With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stacey Wayne Trantham (Sylva, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 49. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stacey Wayne Trantham to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Trantham; and his grandparents, Eldon, Margaret Mathis, Phil and Mary-Bell Trantham.
He is survived by: his son Tristan Trantham; his mother Arlene Trantham; his sister Amanda Moody (Kenneth); and his close friend Tony Chastain. He is also survived by numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mathis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to help cover the costs of the service.
