He is survived by: his wife Margaret Yeargin; his children, Rebecca Hale Veach, Jennifer Hale Lister and Samuel Hale II; his grandchildren, Matthew, Niki, Brittany, Owen and Heidi; his brother Ted; and his sisters-in-law, Betty, Sarah and Marcia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
