She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Stanley and Opal Nations Stanley; her sister Norma Stanley Potts; her great grandchild Treyson Bradley; her nephew Mark Ensley; her brother-in-law Fred Holmes; and also Loula Swann.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Ensley Bradley and Alan Rich (Kelly) of Sylva; her daughter-in-law Kelly; her grandsons, Caleb, Trevor and Chase Bradley; her great grandchildren, Aubree Bradley, Brooklynn Matthews, Jaxon Bradley, Mason and Maitlyn Bradley; and her siblings, Clarence Stanley (Betty), Glen Stanley (Rhea), Novella Stanley Greer (Eddie) of Sylva and Joanne Stanley Holmes of Greenwood, S. C.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
If preferred, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Phyllis's memory to the Bryson City Cat Sanctuary.
