She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lee Reagan and Ida Battle Reagan; her husband James Therlo Herron; and her son James Randy Herron. She is survived by: her children, David Herron (Heather), Jeff Herron and Beth Higdon; her daughter-in-law Karen Herron (Randy); her grandchildren, Reagan Miller (Nathan), Lyndon Higdon, Jessica Brooks, Isaac Herron and Emma Herron; her great grandchildren, Kingston, Kaia, Koa and Lennox; and her sister Billie Wike (William).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to cancer research or to an educational scholarship.
