He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Laura Shook Haskett; his wife Jimmie Lee Blanton Haskett; and his siblings, Jim Haskett, Vernon Haskett (Mildred), Ethel Haskett Wilson (Charles) and Minnie Haskett Cabe (Paul).
He is survived by: his son Tim Haskett (Donna); his grandchildren, Andrew Haskett, Joseph Haskett (Bryce) and Samantha Haskett Pepper (Luke); his great grandchildren, John Haskett, Leigh Elizabeth Pepper and James Parker Haskett; his brother Orville Haskett (Jean); and his sister-in-law Flora Haskett.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Clyde, NC or to the Haskett Phoenix Endowed Scholarship at WCU for students who have aged out of foster care or orphanage care.
