She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy L. Sellers and Bertha Lawing Sellers; her husband Earl Hooper; her son Michael D. Hooper; and her siblings, Terry Sellers and Betty Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Hooper (Joan) of Sylva, Sherry Hooper of Newland, NC and Andrea Thurn of Newland; her sister-in-law Linda Sellers of Columbus, MS; her nephew Kim (Tammy); and her nieces, Dottie Franklin, Donna Owen and Pam McIntyre.
