She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Wykle and Lillie McMahan; her former husband Rev. Wade Fox; her sisters, Juanita Brooks, Thelma Hodgins and Hester Wykle; her nephews, Eddie Hodgins and Ronnie Buchanan; and her husband Keith Cabe.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Fox (Darlene), Mike Fox (Rita), Darrell Fox, Gina Fox and Amber Fox (Travis); her niece Kathy Buchanan (Donna Stephens); her grandchildren, Kristy Hopkins (Michael), Blake Fox (Beth), Camille Fox, Cheyenne Fox, Jordan Fox and Cayley Fox; her great grandchildren, Alannah Hopkins, Breanna Ogle, Timothy Ogle, Lyra Fox, Jade Fox and Kyra Fox; her grandchildren, Kelly Shapiro (Dakota), Jacob Pressley, Peanut, Maddie and Wyatt Sims; and her earthly angel Paula Bishop.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Locust Field Baptist Church (326 Macktown Gap Rd, Sylva, NC 28779).
