He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie Melton and Doris Greene Melton; his son Tanner (Chastity Gates); and his sisters, Leslie Travis (John) of Melton, FL, Lora Kinsey (Eric) of Cashiers and Dora Walker of Sylva. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and one aunt.
