She was predeceased by: her parents, Doley Lloyd Young and Mary Emma Tribble Young; her husband John Beauchamp Armistead; and her sister Bettye Hazelrigs (Burton) of Atlanta. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Christopher Armistead, Kevin Armistead and Amy Federman; her niece Brenda Jane Maddox; and her children, Kelie Federman (Fred) and Michael Armistead (Gina).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Community Bible Church (3645 Cashiers Rd, Highlands, NC 28741). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arlington Memorial Park (201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Atlanta, GA 30328).
