She was predeceased by: her parents, L. J. Hensley and Lonie Hensley (Sitton); her husband Dillard Mathis; and her son Kenneth Ray Mathis. She is survived by: her children, Louise Biddix (Jackie) of Dillsboro, N. C., Charlie Mathis (Pat) of Caney Fork, N. C., Doug Mathis (Diane) of Tuckasegee, N. C. and Steve Mathis of Sylva, N. C.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Balsam Grove Cemetery.
