He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Narlin and Danah Hall Deitz. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda; his son Doug (Ashley); his grandchildren, Austin (Kelly) and Ryan; and his sister Frankie Ward.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Sylva Baptist Church (61 Faith Ave, Sylva, NC 28779). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
