He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Ensley Sr. and Glenna Catherine Hall Ensley; and his brothers, Thomas D. Ensley and James D. Ensley. He is survived by: his sons, John William Ensley III (Pam) of Sylva and Robert Kevin Ensley of Weaverville; and his siblings, George Ensley of Bryson City and Bobbie Sue Smiley (Larry) of Bryson City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crisp Funeral Home Chapel (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713).
