Jane Brethauer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Jane Brethauer in Sylva, North Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Neal Winecoff and Ethel Bost Winecoff; her husband Mel; her daughters, Melanie Brethauer of Asheville, NC, Melissa (George Cleland) and Maria (Paul Rock); and her grandchildren, George, Sean, Madeline, Christopher, Julia, Sophia, Joseph, Jane and Max.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Lenoir-Rhyne University Scholarship Fund, Hickory, NC.
