She was predeceased by: her sisters, Donna Resha and Regina Blanchard-Lanoue. She is survived by: her mother Bessie Pressley Blanchard; her caregiver Lenn Wilkes; her daughter Kelly Lance (Travis); her grandchildren, Hayden Masters (Kaleb) and Corban Kirkpatrick; and her great grandchild Avery Masters. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the Hooper-Speedwell Cemetery (103 Stone Fly Dr, Cullowhee, NC 28723).
