Carroll Kent Ashe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Kent Ashe (Sylva, North Carolina), who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Ashe; and his brother Darryle Ashe. He is survived by: his children, Krystle and Justin Ashe; his mother Betty Brown Ashe; his siblings, Terry, Keith, Brian Ashe and Teresa Buchanan; his grandsons, Ethan and Owen; and his extended family, Jeff and Luke Stillwell.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fairivew Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Kent's honor to his grandchildren, Ethan and Owen to help prepare for their future.
