Though Betty Paxton may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Paxton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paxton and Myrtle Crisp Paxton. She is survived by: her husband Del Reid; her daughter Lisa Gunton (David); and her grandson Daniel Gunton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
