She is survived by: her son Tyler of Waynesville, NC; her mother Kim Gillespie of Waynesville, NC; her stepfather Darin Gillespie of Mint Hill, NC; and her brothers, Joey Gillespie of Mint Hill, NC and Philip Gillespie of Monroe, NC.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Innovation Station (40 Depot St, Dillsboro, NC 28725).
