He is survived by: his wife Patricia Allen; his children, Elizabeth "Liz" Allen and Isaiah Allen (Whitney); his grandchildren, Azure Jea and Wyatt Allen; his siblings, Clyde Allen, Mary Baxter, Walter Allen and John Allen; his mother-in-law Gladys McGhee; and his nephew Jakob Godfrey.
