Stephen Richard Drew Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Richard Drew of Swansboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Stephen Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stephen Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard John and Stephanie Beresko Drew. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hinton Drew; and his children, Brook Nichols (Kurt), Stephanie Drew, Kristen Davids (Jason), Richard John Drew (Brittany) and Savannah Drew. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Swansboro Thursday (407 Old Hammock Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse at 801 Bamboo Rd. Boone, NC 28607.
