He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Zado and Marianne Yost Zado; and his brother Dale Zado. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Caron Zado; his sons, Paul Zado (Jessica) and Brent Zado (Deanna) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Emma, Hannah and Jackson; and his sisters, Nancy Stewart and Denise Peters of McDonough, GA..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carteret Healthcare and Hospice.
