With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Burrell Henderson of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cleaver Burrell and Ruth Lear Burrell; her former husband Richard Roger Henderson Jr.; her husband Harold Lee Schell; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Hickey and Rose Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl (Elizabeth Henderson) of Swansboro and Donald (Wendy Henderson) of Greenville; her stepchildren, Mike Schell of West Jefferson and Sherrie Alvens of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Caroline Knight Henderson of New York, John Crockett Henderson of Wilmington and Annabelle Lear Henderson of Chapel Hill; and her sister April Wilkins of Mississippi.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Seaside Memorial Park (1161 State Rd 1511, Swansboro, NC 28584).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Swansboro.
