With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eleanor Morton Lewis of Swansboro, North Carolina, born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Sullivan and Laura Strother Sullivan; her husbands, Emmett H. Morton, Sr. and Garland Lewis; and her siblings, Reginald Sullivan, Arlene Haney, Gladys Williams and Louis Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, George Barth (Betty Lou), Bettie Weaver (John Green) of Hubert, Sheila Fulcher (Dewayne Rivenbark) of Hubert, Sherry Cuellar (Max) of Swansboro and Emmett H. Morton, Jr. (Pam) of Swansboro; her grandchildren, Joey, Brittany, Bridget and Brandie; her great grandchildren, Devin, Speirs, Wyatt, Titus, Presley, Ruby, Olivia and Taylar Shay; and her siblings, James Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Eva Miller and Stella Morrison.
