He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dawson and Elsie Wilson Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Stanley Dawson; his son Chris Dawson (Hanane Dawson) of London, England; and his sister Elise Dodson of Chapel Hill.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park (1161 State Rd 1511, Swansboro, NC 28584).
