With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Bennett of Swansboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Howard and Margaret Williams; and her siblings, Teresa Jones and David Howard. She is survived by: her husband Brooks Bennett; her children, Crystal Howard of Swansboro and William Johnson of Deep Run; her grandchildren, Jordan Blake Robinson (Sarah) and Mason Goodman; her great grandchildren, Owen, Amelia "Millie" and Madelyn "Maddie"; and her siblings, Diane Herring, Lynn Howard, Glenda Long (Bob), Jamie Williams and Andrew Howard.
