He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Madison Worley and Artha Gentry Worley; and his sister Judy Pate. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Littlefield (James) of Greensboro, NC; his sisters, Ruth Payne (Glen) of Candler, NC and Sarah Phillips (Dennis) of Candler, NC; his brother-in-law George Pate; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Payne (Becky) of Raleigh, NC, Terry Pate of Black Mountain, Janet Lyles of Swannanoa, NC and Tamra Gilbert (Darren) of Swannanoa, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
