It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Lewis of Swannanoa, North Carolina, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Hampton and Gay Brown Hampton; her husband Troy Lewis; her son Pat Lewis; her grandson Travis Wright; and her siblings, Truman, Wayne Hampton and Wilma Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Lewis (Nancy) of Etowah, Wanda Lewis of Asheville, Brenda Lewis of Old Fort, Deborah Edwards of Marshall and Vikkie Metcalf (Marty) of Asheville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
