She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hayes and Pansy Smith Shelton; and her brother Herman Eldridge Shelton. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Misty Lesley; and her siblings, Sandra Helton, Gene Shelton (Judy) and Roy Shelton (Brenda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the funeral home to assist the family with burial expenses.
