Sidney Earl Bass Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Earl Bass of Swannanoa, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Erwin Bass and Nellie Mae Bartlett Bass; his grandparents, Joseph Foy Bartlett, Mary Josephine Fox Bartlett, Charles Rueben Bass and Mary Elizabeth Goldsmith Bass; and his sister Mary Joan Bass Boan.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Linda Edwards Bass; his children, Margaret Elizabeth Bass, Joseph Sidney "Jody" Bass (Sonya) and Mary Josephine Bass Adams (Sheldon); his grandchildren, Joseph Stephen Bass, Johnathan Noah Bass, Sydney Briann Adams Ford (Caleb) and Lucas Marc Adams; and his great grandchild Annabelle Ray Bass.
In lieu of flowers the family would request a memorial donation to be made to the Asheville humane society.
