She was predeceased by: her parents, Theo Williams and Vesti Hollifield Williams; her husband Bill Roper; her daughter Susan Roper; and her brothers, George Williams (Lois), Delmar Williams (Dot) and Fred Williams (Betty).
She is survived by: her daughter Cindi Brantley (Tony); her granddaughter Anna Brantley; her stepgrandsons, Ben and Weston Brantley; and her siblings, Wilma Strickland (Fred), Thelma Dotson, Raymond Williams (Tensie) and Faye Hall (Charles). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
