He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Hardy and Helen Marie Holcombe Plemmons; his daughter Brandi McNeely (Jason) of Arlington, TN; his sisters, Debbie Brigman (Dennis) of Swannanoa and Judy Roberts (late Charlie Sr.) of Lexington, NC; his granddaughter Kherington McNeely of Arlington; and his nephews, Preston Brigman (Amber) of Asheville, Justin Brigman (Lacie) of Swannanoa and Charlie Roberts Jr. (Sherri) of Greensboro, NC..
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
