It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Melton (Swannanoa, North Carolina), who passed away on July 24, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Melton and Cordelia Melton; his daughter Cheryl Eudy; and his siblings, Roy, Grady Melton, Virginia Setzer and Gracie Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Melton; his children, Kathleen Hannigan (Michael) of Asheville and David Melton (Tammy) of Swannanoa; and his grandchildren, Jessica Hannigan, Derek Melton, Devin Melton, Mel Eudy and Michael Eudy. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
