He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Robinson Chapman and Clarence Clifton "Cliff" Chapman; and his sister Saundra Blevins. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Hernandez-Medina (Manuel) and Josie Ballew; his grandchildren, Julian and Adeline Mendina; and his sisters, Angie (Gerald), Jo Ann (Gary) and Katie. He is also survived by nephew and many nieces.
