It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ottis Homer White of Swannanoa, North Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edward and Lottie Stewart; his mother Georgia Mae Huntley; and his siblings, Floyd White, David White, James White, Lewis White, Bobby White, Paul White and Thelma Huntley Sampson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wimberly White; his daughters, Donna Gardner (Rick) of Marion, NC, Teresa White of Weaverville, NC and Melissa "Missy" Hollifield of Johnson City, TN; his granddaughters, Kati Gardner (Tyler Nations) of Marion, NC and Chloe Hollifield of Johnson City, TN; and his nephew Keith Holder of Swannanoa, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
