He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Moore and Ethel Moore; and his siblings, Harold Moore, Louise Harris, Cyleen Moore and Joann Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Moore (Dawn) of Etowah, Chris Moore of Asheville, Stephen Moore (Christine) of Salem, SC and Kevin Moore (Stephanie) of Fletcher; his siblings, Maybelle Whitaker of Swannanoa, Maxine Barnwell of Hendersonville, Marthene Shelton (Jim) of Brevard, James Moore (Edna) of Asheville and Vickey Ellison (Kim) of Aniston, AL; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Gracie, Cylas, Madi and Jody.
