He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn T. Davis and Alta G. Davis; his grandson James Allen Haywood; and his sister-in-law Peggy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Margo Davis; his daughters, Maureen Haywood (Allen) of Greensboro, NC and Mary Dale (Joel) of Pageland, SC; his siblings, Marlene Coyle (Sam) of Morehead City, NC, Cheryl Harper (Terry) of Fairmont, WV, Harold Davis of Arden, NC and Don Davis (Phyllis) of Old Fort, NC; and his grandchildren, David (Shelby), Jacob and Kirsten Dale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
