It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Surratt (Swannanoa, North Carolina), who passed away on October 2, 2019, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew Surratt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas Hall and Willie Surratt. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Lee Surratt of Swannanoa, NC and Geneva Ann Correll Wilson of Orangeburg, SC.; his siblings, Tasha Wright (Scott), Joseph Surratt, Daniel Surratt and Dustin Wilson; and his grandmothers, Patricia Hall and Louise Surratt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Penland Family Funeral Home to be applied toward his services.
