With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Hagan Waddell (Swannanoa, North Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2018 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Daniel Marvin Hagan. She is survived by: her parent Mary Lucile Ledbetter Hagan; her husband Ronald D. Mayer; her children, Patrick Waddell (Wanda) of Greenville, TN and Dana Waddell of Asheville; and her brother Bob Hagan of Asheville. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 7:00-8:30pm Friday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home Tunnel Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broad River Missionary Baptist Church, 20 Kate Mtn.
