She was predeceased by: her father James Dalton Israel; her husband William Woodrow Henson; her grandson Zachary Henson; and her siblings, Thomas, Robert, Dennis Israel, Etta Mae Miller, Margaret Gibson, Martha Childers, Dottie Best and Mary Lucy Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Henson (Diane) of Swannanoa, Gary Henson of Asheville, NC, Terry Henson (Stephanie) of Wichita Falls, TX, Phyllis Ballard (Dave) of Weaverville, NC and Karol Black (Earl) of Fletcher, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions in Louise's honor be made to: Bee Tree Christian Church or Meals on Wheels of Asheville.
