She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Yarbrough and Audia Poindexter Yarbrough; her former husband William Wesley Hopkins; her husband James Naves; her son Ronald Allen Hopkins; and her siblings, Albert Yarbrough, W. T. Yarbrough, Eugene "Gene" Yarbrough, Evelyn Reddish, Lola Phillips and Betty Edenfield.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Hopkins (Linda) of Wrightsboro, GA, Danny Hopkins (Mary) of Black Mountain and Bill Hopkins (Judy) of Duncan, SC; her stepdaughters, Debbie Hughes (Roger) of Corpus Christi, TX and Carol Watson (Dennis) of Black Mountain; and her siblings, Myrtice McLeighton of Jesup, GA, Ruby Elliott of Jesup, GA, Gerry Cooksey (Bill) of Jesup, GA and Lonnie Yarbrough (Beth) of Palatka, FL. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
