He is survived by: his wife Gail Lunsford Muse; his stepdaughter Melissa Berkowitz (Frank) of Hickory, NC; his son Jonathan Muse (Hayley) of Monona, IA; his brothers, Charles Muse (Susan) of Florence, SC and David Muse (Lucy) of Hamlet, NC; his son-in-law John Thomas of New Bern, NC; and his grandchildren, Peyton Muse of Weaverville, NC, Zoe, Olivia, Cooper, Brantley Muse of Monona, IA. and Aidan Corn of Hickory, NC..
