It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jesse Allen of Swannanoa, North Carolina, born in Burnsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Charles Allen and Vaughtie Mae Hughes; and his siblings, Ronald Lee Allen and Anna Vaughtie Allen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Deyton Allen; and his children, Anna Maria Almany (Dwayne) of Etowah, NC, Tina Louise Holcombe (Patrick) of Fletcher, NC, Leisa Renee Wilson (Randy) of Asheville, William Jay of Swannanona and Elijah Gage McKinney of Swannanona. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
