He was predeceased by: his parents, Romey Silvers and Lillian Sims Silvers; his wife Janet Silvers; his brother Vernon Silvers; and his son David Silvers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Lowery (Kirk) of Swannanoa, NC, Cindy Williams (Chester) of Black Mountain, NC and Jennifer Silvers of Swannanoa, NC; and his siblings, Francis Jenkins (Doug) of Old Fort, NC and Ronnie Silvers of Canada. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
