He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Dodson and Dorothy Shaw Morris; and his sisters, Sue Frances Morris Vowell and Janet Anne Morris. He is survived by: his daughter Miranda Morris; his sister Ruth Benedict; and his niece Vicki Vowell Catalano.
